INSTALLATION
1. Remove the negative terminal clamp from the battery. When the clamp is removed your audio presets and/or anti theft system may temporarily malfunction. When disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery make sure the ignition is OFF. Never touch the positive and negative terminals together. 2. Before installation we suggest that you predetermine ground sequence to assure proper placement and tools that may be needed for the project. If not familiar with engine modifications, professional installation is recommended. 3. For terminal connection we recommend utilization of the vehicles existing bolt posts (Fig.A), or if that's not an option utilize the factory bolts and locations (Fig.B). If these options are not applicable additional bolts may be required (not included) 4. Install the Energy Ground Transfer System (see page 2) 5. Once you've completed the installation and verified all the connections start the vehicle with the air conditioning, audio system, etc. off. 6. Let the engine warm up for at least 2 minutes. Once warmed up press the accelerator to verify that the engine is running properly. Once everything is verified...you're grounded! Hit the street. |
